Blob Lab was established in 2021 by an ex-toy designer as a pseudonymous creative studio to explore the future of collectible designer toys. The first product launched was Blob Mob, a digital collectible inspired by minimal designer vinyl toys. It was the one of the first blockchain projects to use 3D rendering and innovative mechanisms in combining and creating unique collectibles. Blob Lab released their second product Joyrides which pushes the boundaries further and brought the digital collectibles into the physical space via 3D printing. Today, Blob Lab continues to pioneer the future of designer toys by expanding into new printable designs and commercial licenses that complete the decentralized loop of collectible toys.
